Raghav Kumar is an multi-disciplinary designer based in Naarm, Melbourne. His expertise bridges the realms of Visual Design and Photography. With an experience of over 6 years in Branding, UI design, Packaging design and Art direction, Kumar believes in crafting a balance between visual storytelling and problem solving through his work. His work has been showcased on esteemed design platforms such as Brand New, Packaging of the World, and Pentawards.
Kumar completed a degree in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Communication design in 2016 at the Nottingham Trent University, UK. He also has a passion for photography and completed his Masters degree in photography from RMIT University (Melbourne) in 2023.
Through his research-led photography practice, Kumar uses Traditional Indian Studio portraiture and still life along with old family archives and documentary photography to explore his fragmented contemporary identity in the post colonial Indian diaspora. His Master’s project titled ‘All that remained are memories’ received the Dean’s award for academic excellence, NAVA Ignition Award for highest performing Profession Practice and the Seventh Gallery Mentorship Award.
